Sunday 4/29/12 local 3/4 day trip with our good clients Aaron, Chris, John and Jiwon. Whacked limits of giant Boccacio and had good fun chasing after other rockies. Ended day with a run at the bass up against the wall. Beautiful weather and warming water.
Fishing has been steady with some good bites in October and early November. If you would like to book a trip give us a call at 310-701-9172.
Got to our spot on Izors Reef and started to work away at the bass. It was slow fishing but steady at times. We decided to wait out the spot as other twilight boats came and went. We ended up with 30 bass on board, Jonathan caught one small sculpin as well.
Got back over to San Clemente this past weekend for an overnight trip Friday/Saturday. Turned out to be beyond gorgeous weather. The shirts off, beer and sunscreen weather we have been looking for.
Here are a few photos from the past few local trips we have had last month. Local Sea Bass, Halibut as well as the usual suspects.
We had another great overnight trip on 7/23 to Catalina. We boated a nice white seabass and limits of sheephead for everyone on board. We stopped at half limits of 2-4 lb calicos and released another 40-50 legal fish. We caught and safely released a 10 lb cutie baby black seabass as well.
Here are a few photos from our recent trips. One of our passengers Dean, got his first White Sea Bass on the Spectra, 4 years in the hunt and he got one!
